Sana Kakar

Sana Kakar is a freelance journalist currently working with Radio Azadi, with several years of experience in journalism, media, and communication.

She began her professional journey as an actor in educational programs with the Afghanistan Educational Program Organization, where she developed a strong passion for storytelling, public engagement, and social awareness.

Fluent in Dari, Pashto, English, and Hindi, Sana brings a multilingual and cross-cultural perspective to her work. Since 2019, she has been living in India as a refugee, an experience that has deepened her understanding of displacement, resilience, and human-centered storytelling.

Her work focuses on journalism, audio content production, and amplifying diverse voices through meaningful and impactful reporting.
