About Women For Women Podcast

Women for Women is a podcast dedicated to documenting and amplifying the voices of Afghan women who have lived under Taliban rule and now live in exile. From the experience of imprisonment to the closure of schools and universities, we bring forward stories that have been silenced, ignored, or deliberately erased.

Support Independent Journalism

Exile makes storytelling harder, but it makes independent voices more necessary than ever.

Women for Women gave me the courage to speak openly about what happened after the Taliban returned. For a long time, I believed our stories would disappear in silence.

The world hears statistics about Afghan women, but rarely our personal experiences. Women for Women creates space for truth, memory, and resistance.

After leaving Afghanistan, I felt disconnected from my identity and my work. This podcast reminded me that our voices still matter, even in exile.
